  • How to prepare

It is very important how to store Japanese Wagyu Beef at your home.  We highly suggest you to take between 6 hours to 7 hours of thaw time per pound.  We recommend keeping Japanese Wagyu Beef inside of the refrigerator to thaw.

 

  • How to cook

We suggest you to allow the Japanese Wagyu Beef to come to room temperature outside of the fridge for about 30 minutes, depending on the thickness of cuts.  And then, season your steak with some salt and pepper or use your favorite steak seasonings, depending on how you want to eat it.

You need to preheat your skillet over high heat.  We recommend using the fat from your Japanese Wagyu Beef around the edges and use it to grease your pan for the most natural flavor.  Or you can use your favorite oil or butter to cook.

Cook three to four minutes on each side.  It will be depending on how well you like to cook Japanese Wagyu Beef.  If you like a rare cook: closer to three minutes or even less.  For Medium, cook for about four minutes.

You may want to check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer, aiming for about 130-degree Fahrenheit.  Then remove the Japanese Wagyu Beef from the pan and allow them to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.  It will allow the Japanese Wagyu Beef juices to flow back through the meet.

Soy source for Wagyu beef  Take it easy on seasonings. The best way to enjoy Japanese Wagyu beef is by simply using salt and pepper. we recommended wasabi soy sauce same as you eat sushi. Ponzu is also one the popular ways to eat when you refresh your mouth from the fatty taste. Noodle soup can be used if you like a bit of sweet with grained or graded garlic.  Another popular way to eat is with little yuzu seasonings that you can find at grocery stores near you.
